A word of advice...
					I have been arranging vacation rentals for several years, first in Italy, managing the properties and assisting Clients while they were on vacation, then as an agent, helping people select and finalize their rentals. I have found that the best way to go about this, is often to choose a home base that allows short and medium distance sightseeing trips, rather than stay a week in one place, then pack, move to another location etc. Naturally everyone's taste differs; this is true for food, wine, art..and of course travel is no exception. But when you travel with children or teen-agers, a home base makes a difference. Your vacation can be both relaxing and informative if you concentrate on a relatively small area to visit in depth. This way you can truly experience Italy the way Italians do.      In these pages you will find information regarding several of the properties we represent; a strong recommendation if you would like to make home base in Tuscany, is the town of Marina di Pietrasanta. Here we have a large number of individually owned homes, villas, and apartments. The town is small and friendly, the beach is beautiful and family-oriented, and most of all...Marina is a great location for sightseeing trips: Florence is only one hour drive, Pisa 30 minutes, Siena 90 minutes, Portofino one hour, Cinque Terre one hour...and the list could go on....
