A brief introduction is useful here : these villas and apartments are NOT like in some holiday villages, all furnished identically, layed out identically etc. These are mainly people's first or second homes, and each and every one of them is furnished, equipped and stocked according to the owners' individual taste. This is not to say that if Signor Rossi decided to furnish his home with only one chair, this is what you're going to find. Absolutely not! The following list describes the MINIMUM equipment you can expect to find in your villa/apartment .
Kitchens, kitchenettes and cooking corners :pottery, crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, cleaning utensils, refrigerator, gas or electric range, hot and cold water.
Lounge/dining rooms : adequate seating based upon the number of people the house is designated to host, dining table and chairs, storage cabinets.
Double bedded rooms : standard size double bed, wardrobe, bedside table, dresser.
Twin bedded rooms : 2 single beds, wardrobe, bedside table.
Single bedded rooms : single bed, dresser, bedside table.
Bathrooms : tub and or shower (the shower may be wall mounted or hand held in the case of a tub), WC, bidet, wash-basin,mirror, storage cabinets or shelves.
Shower-rooms : wall mounted shower, wash-basin, WC, bidet, mirrow, storage cabinets or shelves, adequate lighting. Generally shower-rooms are smaller in size than bathrooms. Given the variety of individual structures of these properties, it is not possible for us to guarantee that a house will have all bathrooms, or all shower-rooms, though we will endeavor to do our utmost to satisfy your specific preferences.
Balconies, terraces, and gardens : adequate outdoor furniture, based upon the number of people the house can host, and, in the case of terraces in particular, the size of the outdoor space available.
In addition to that, many houses have dishwashers, almost all have TVs and washers, some have built in barbeques, most kitchens have electric ovens, all have...the charm of somebody's home in a beautiful country such as Italy.
