our opinion, what makes Marina a great choice is
not only the beach though: its location makes it an
obvious homebase for touring Tuscany, with the
beach as a back up plan for those days when you'd
rather relax than drive.
Many
cultural events take place in the general area
during the Summer months, such as the Puccini Opera
Festival in Torre del Lago Puccini, the Maestro's
birth place. World famous stars of pop culture can
also often be seen in concert.

Beach
For
many people, especially Florentines, Milanese and
northern Europeans, the beach is the main reason to
come to Pietrasanta. It's a wide sandy beach, well
managed and serviced, and it often becomes the main
social focus for people who vacation in this
area.
We
recommend to plan a few days for beach life
"Italian Style", it's a great family
experience.
Beach
arrangements can be reserved through the villa
management office upon arrival. The basic
arrangement includes the reservation for a sun
umbrella and two deck chairs and it is very
inexpensive.
